Chris Yoder is an author and journalist with various interests, including a passion for South Asia borne from a yearlong Rotary Youth Exchange in Nagpur, India from July 2010 to June 2011. He is an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley and a reporter for The Daily Californian, having served as sports editor, news reporter and web producer. He also works at the UC Berkeley Center for South Asia Studies. In addition to journalism, Chris has interests in international relations, anthropology, political science, sociology, history, gender studies and sports — especially baseball and cricket.
While on exchange in India, Chris authored the blog An Indian Year. He is now writing a book about his experience which is expected to be complete by summer 2014.
